Hello lovelies,

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s item was chosen by Olivia, and she chose a statement belt.

I totally felt like wearing my amazing tutu dress today.. it makes me feel great! So that is what I did, and thankfully the only statement belt I have looks good with it ;).

OOTD: Relaxed

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Hey lovelies,

Just a quick OOTD post from me today. This outfit is totally relaxed, and has a completely different vibe than my last few posts, haha. The outfit is missing something though. I wore this to go to Oxford Street, I wanted to go to the new Evans flagship store (which looks AMAZING by the way) and buy the Swan By Clements Ribeiro Burgundy Waist Belt before taking these photos. The belt is gorgeous, and it’s my second favourite from the collection. First one is the Grace Lace Skirt, but unfortunately it doesn’t suit my bodyshape at all. *sobs* So the belt is something I absolutely have to get. I mean, look at it!

I love the stud details and the squareish ‘pin’ and holes. And the colour is beautiful, yeah, it would have made this outfit special! Sadly they were out of the red one, so I will have to order it online, and probably will wear this outfit again later ;).

Jumper: XXL, Old Navy (similar) | Dress/tunic: L, Old Navy (similar) | Wetlook leggings: INC via Macy’s (similar, similar) | Glasses: LensWay (similar)

Wedge sneakers: Matalan | Bag: Primark (similar)

I have waited for these sneakers since I saw them at the Matalan pressday. I LOVE the colour and they’re comfy too. And most of all they look great with leggings/skinnies. Now I just need the belt to match… ;)

Evans Swan A/W preview

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I was one of the bloggers invited to the preview event of the Evans Clements Ribeiro Swan Autumn/Winter collection last Thursday. I had a really great time chatting to my fellow bloggers and the lovely Evans ladies Carina and Claire, and of course we all were talking about the new items for coming season.

So ok, let me be honest.. I didn’t like the Clements Ribeiro Spring/Summer collection AT ALL. Ok that’s a lie, I did love the black Adele-dress, but it was way too long for my taste. But in general the collection was very far from what I like in clothes. All the prints and lengths reminded me of my grandma’s and their friends, and that put me off. I guess that’s how grandma’s dresses in the 80′s in Finland ;). This is just my opinion though, and I know that many other bloggers loved the range. Anyway, I was really eager to see the Autumn/Winter collection and if it would change my mind about Swan. And you know what, it kinda did! There was 6 pieces that I really loved, tops and dresses with beautiful lace details and contrast finishes. …And the gorgeous lacy pencil skirt. Instant love.

Here’s me trying on the skirt. It looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? Sadly the fit was a bit wrong in that sample, so I will have to go to try it on when the collection is in stores.

Some amazing Evans accessories and shoes for A/W. The boots with the steel detail will surely be mine!

Some accessories and shoes from Dorothy Perkins. GORGEOUS.

Haha, me being silly :D. But on a serious note, I will NEED those Evans earrings in my life!

Denim vest: 20, New Look Inspire | Vest dress: 26, Next via Choice | Leggings: 20, Primark | Shoes: H&M | Glasses: LensWay (similar) | Lippy: Natural Collection Moisture Shine in Pink Mallow (available in Boots)

One more smile spam ;)

The Clements Ribeiro Swan collection hits the Evans stores and online next weekend, will you be shopping? Which items are your favourites?
