Sorry I haven’t been around much in here (or in Twitter for that matter).. work has been completely manic lately, gotta love the Christmas season in advertising, we are all working and working and working. I also have a few events coming up (well one has gone already), and I will post about those on a later time. …OH, and exciting news! I have bought myself a new camera! I’m so happy that I won’t have to rely on my flatmate’s camera anymore, and I can take pics when and where I want. So I hope to bring you more variety in where I take my pics soon :)
Anyway, to the post itself.. after last week’s break it’s time for a Double Vision again. In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. I got us both these metallic pleather skirts, and we decided to base the theme around them and other metallics.
I teamed the skirt with sheer Forever 21+ shirt, gorgeous sparkly boots and a layered necklace, and finished with my favourite coral lippy.

Have you ventured the metallics-trend? I do like this shine and sparkle for this Autumn, it makes the darkness of the weather a bit brighter :). Dani is doing this in the sunny Texas though, so let’s go to DIY Fatshion to see what she wore in this challenge!
Once again it’s Wednesday and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s challenge item was chosen by Mhairi, and she chose a floral dress.
I’ve had this dress for ages (well it feels like ages, but really it’s been like 6 months, haha), and it’s been on the blog already. Dani had the same dress on in the bodycon challenge a few weeks ago and she reminded me of this dress’s existence and I thought it goes well with this Autumn’s trends. I added my new amazing glittery boots and the parka you already saw a few posts ago. I really love this outfit myself, it’s both glam and relaxed at the same time.

Do you like wearing floral dresses? I love these darker ones this Autumn <3!
Now let’s go see what kind of dresses the other FF ladies are wearing, I’m sure they look fabulous as always!

Mhairi: Lilybobombs Lovely Lumps (UK)

The Autumn has definitely come to London. It’s dark when I leave the house in the morning and it’s dark when I come back in the evening. I still like to wear colours, but seem to I go for darker shades automatically when I go through my wardrobe. Does that happen to you too in the Autumn/Winter times?

Time for another sparkly look! I got these jeans from H&M sale, and I had a voucher for £5 off if I buy stuff for over £10… sooo, I got these jeans (£7 on the sale) and a iPhone cover (£4.99) and ended up paying £5.99 of them together!!! BARGAINNNNN! The jeans are once again sized by H&M’s interesting system, meaning that I’m usually UK 24, and these jeans are UK 28, the biggest size they do. So if you are UK 18-24 in jeans, go and have a look at your nearest H&M that sells + range, since these are crazy cheap and totally on trend. If that’s not an option, Simply Be has an amazing pair at the moment, have a look!

Have you tried the metallic trousers look?
Oh, and I thought that if you like my blog, I’d ask for a cheeky follow at Bloglovin’ if you use it ;). Thank you xx

It’s Wednesday and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s challenge item was chosen by Mouna, and she chose boots.
I don’t know if my boots count as cheating, since I decided to wear ankle boots. I got these from Avenue when I went to New York in March, they were on sale for like $15, so obviously I had to get them! And this coat then.. OH MY GOOOOOD. My flatmate found this gem from a thrift store… Genuine leather Anna Scholz White Label coat. FOR £35! I just love finds like that, and I love my flatmate for always looking for things for me too <3!

I seriously love this coat and I can’t believe my luck. Anna’s designs are amazing, but sadly way out of my reach because of the prices.. so thankfully some weird person (because who would want to get rid of this?!?) had given this to charity shop. Anyway, this should be about BOOTS.. sorry, haha. Click ahead to check out my fabulous ladies and see what kind of boots they are wearing.

This week seems to be another CRAZY one at work, so can’t do all the posts that I wanted to.. this girl needs her sleep too :/. But I wanted to share this OOTD with you. I’m wearing my new parka from Clothing at Tesco, which was a total bargain at £30. I saw it at Toni’s blog first, and since she looked totally great in it, I had to order it too. I also took advice from her post when she said that she sized up so that she could wear lots of layers underneath.. so yeah, I got a 24 too. I have wanted a parka so that I could wear it with heels, been obsessive about it actually, so now I am! The shorts are actually a playsuit, and I bought the top from Molly‘s blogsale.

Have you worn heels with more casual stuff like sweatshirts and parkas? Do you like that look?

It’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for a Double Vision post again. In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. We kind of chose this week’s challenge together, since I bought these awesome sequin collars for both of us, and Dani said that we should wear them this week.
I wore the collar with my beloved ASOS puffball skirt and my new Dorothy Perkins jumper. I love the PU-details in the sleeves, and this jumper will surely be one of my faves this winter. I also went to my flatmate’s purse collection and borrowed this patent clutch, since it goes well with the shoes. Haha, I love living with two other girls.. I mean they are waaaaaaay smaller than me, but I can still borrow their accessories ;).

Collar: Matalan (similar) | Jumper: 22, Dorothy Perkins | Skirt: 22, ASOS (didn’t find a puffball, but this one would look great too) | Leggins: 20, Primark | Heels: Evans (similar) | Clutch: Next (similar) | Headband: George at ASDA (similar) | Glasses: LensWay (similar) | Lippy: Accessorize, Coral Crush With LoveI love these fashion collars, they can make any outfit look different, in this case more glam. Have you worn them? What type is your favourite? I wonder what Dani did with hers.. let’s go to DIY Fatshion to see!
]]>I got exciting parcel last week which had some amazing goodies from Matalan. I have been waiting for these items since I saw them at their press day in July, and now I finally had them in my possession! I’ve been happy to see that Matalan has brought more glam stuff to their Rogers & Rogers collection, like the amazing shirt you’ve seen in my posts lately.. and these pretties.

I’m in love with these, seriously, I need a party to go to! Both the dress and the jacket are a bit too big for me, but it isn’t that noticeable, right? So that just means that the items are true to size, since I’m usually 22. I can’t believe that the jacket’s retail price is £25, since it doesn’t look cheap at all! The dress costs £28, which is a steal as well. Both of them look and feel much more luxurious than what their price tags suggest, I’m totally impressed :). My only negative thought is that the belt in the dress is intact, and that you can only tighten it one way (one strand on each side), since I’d love to wear this dress with other belts too. This fact definitely doesn’t stop me from loving this dress though, no way. Both of these items are available in sizes 18-30, so be sure to check out your nearest store!
It’s Wednesday and Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s challenge item was chosen by Olivia, and she chose a bodycon dress.
Ok, so, I have a confession. When I started this whole fashion blogging-thing I wore A LOT of bodycon skirts and dresses, and I guess it kind of became ‘my thing’ without me even realising it. Last week I was catching up on posts and saw that the lovely Cyn had linked me in this post and said “I can totally picture someone like Hanna wearing it at work just like this, tho; as bodycon is her signature look.” That made me realise that I haven’t actually worn bodycons in AGES, unless I had a flowy shirt on top, like in last Sunday’s Double Vision post. It has happened without me even thinking about it at all, but I’m not really that confident wearing bodycons anymore. It’s not because of my vbo, it’s more about how my style has developed, and I just don’t feel those tight things are really my style anymore.. except sometimes, like in this post. I guess I just wore them too much and I was kind of a ‘rebel’ when I started this whole body acceptance-thing, and now I just want to wear more flowy things, haha.
I actually love how this outfit looks on me. The shirt (didn’t I tell you that I will probably wear it all the time now.. haha) is giving the look a more Autumnal feel, and this Forever 21+ dress is just gorgeous. I still can’t believe that I got it on sale for £9.99!

This will definitely be one of my outfits when going out during Christmas season :). Now let’s go see how the other FF ladies styled their bodycons.. I’m sure they’re all stunning!
Dani: DIY Fatshion (USA)
Mhairi: Lilybobombs Lovely Lumps (UK)
Mouna: Brussels Fatshion (Belgium)
Olivia: Wait Until The Sunset (Australia)
So if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen this outfit already. I usually don’t post the outfits that I Instagram first, BUT I loved this one so much that I had to. It’s somewhat different though, I wore more fab shoes in this one ;).
These shoes are like 3 years old and from Evans, and they are the comfiest platforms in the world. I absolutely love them, and I’m happy that I spotted them in my shoe ‘pile’, since I need to start wearing them more! I used this dress as a top, which works amazingly with this skirt.. the skirt doesn’t have a lining, so the dress kinda works as one. They both also have golden visible zippers at the back, which is a nice detail. I got this dress from H&M sale for £5, which is a complete steal! It’s on sale on the H&M website too, but it’s £12.99.. so go and have a rummage at your local H&M, you might find gems. The dress is also L (18-20), so it’s somewhat oversized. They have XL’s (22-24) left on the website though, which is amazing.
I also got these cool rings from Style369.com sale for £2. I’ve never had this kind of multi-finger rings, so I thought that with that price I can give it a try, and I really liked this!

I really love this trend as it combines rock and more girly looks. Have you worn leather and lace together?
