Anniversary giveaway: £100 to spend on Scarlett & Jo (global)

Tags: , , , ,

Hey lovelies,

I’m still celebrating my first blog anniversary, and on top of my amazing styling & £100 outfit giveaway the awesome people at Evans have also sponsored another prize! The lucky winner will get to spend £100 on Scarlett & Jo, new brand launching at Evans TODAY!

Here are a few pretty dresses and tunics that Scarlett & Jo collection has:

Scarlett & Jo collection has skater dresses, bodycons, peplums, pretty collars and some very amazing prints (like the poppy print dress in the collage above – swoon), and new pieces are still added to the site after today’s launch. Take a look at the Scarlett & Jo lookbook here, and see all that is available now here.

And the giveaway then, £100 to spend on Scarlett & Jo! Amazing, right? And YES, this giveaway is international, and anyone can enter – whooo!

What do you need to do to enter? Well, both me and the Evans ladies enjoyed my previous giveaway where you were asked to create a polyvore-type of image (or something else creative – sky’s the limit) using clothing from Collection range. So, we will do the same thing now! Choose an item or items from Scarlett & Jo collection, and build the rest of your outfit using Evans clothing/shoes/accessories. The Scarlett & Jo item should be the centrepiece of your outfit, and the other items should complement it.

So, create your image, upload it to photobucket or similar, and leave a comment to this post with a link to the image. (If you want, you can also email the image to me.) Also let me know what would be your ideal place (party, cinema, work.. etc) to wear the outfit to.

I will choose my TOP 3 favourites of them and after that I will ask my fashionable flatmate to be the judge and choose the winner out of them.

The competition will run for a week, so submit your entries before Saturday, 9th of February at 4pm UK time. This competition has now ended! Good luck to everyone :)!

OMG I have to have that poppy dress!! I’ll be entering for sure, but I hope you mean February not January ;-) x

    • Hanna says: February 2, 2013 6:42 PM

      Yes! Fixed ;) xx

These challenges are so fun! :) Below is the link to mine. I really like lace so it was nice to see a lace option in the collection. I would wear this for a night out, which would probably end up being dinner, coffee, wandering around any open shops, and possibly trying to stage random photoshoots in front of interesting architecture.

I agree with Kris, I love these challenges because they’re so fun and creative! Here is a link to mine on my polyvore page (which includes the links of the items from the Evans page that I used):
Here is a link to JUST the photo, though:
I think this outfit would be wearable to various occasions which is ultimately such a great thing! I personally see myself wearing this on a night out in LA, or to a “fancy” party (you can never look too good!), or even as an outfit for the Holidays in winter and quite possibly for Valentine’s Day even though there is no red. I personally love the pop of the blue in the bodycon dress which would be formfitting to most girls, I’d love to own this myself. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Hiya sweetness!! here is my entry.

I picked the Rosette Coral short sleeved tunic. I had picked to use it as a cover up for holidays. It would be perfect to wear over swimwear or on day trips with some lush flip flops!!

Sadly I’m not a graphical genius so I have done what I can do with paint haha! I stuck the logos on too as I might also put this on my blog at some point :) I’ve been in love with this collection since I saw the DM article and have been lusting after the side panel dress ever since, so that was the starting point for my ‘look’…

I added the low wedge heels which are currently in the sale, as personally I can’t walk in ‘proper’ heels and a small wedge adds a bit of a glam & feminine touch. I also thought the necklace was the perfect addition as it doesn’t distract or overpower the dress. Personally I think this is a very versatile outfit that could easily see you through from work to dinner dates to parties!

(Please excuse the photobucket account name! I haven’t used it for donkeys years and didn’t even know about this account haha). Here’s the link to my entry:

I totally loved doing this!! I had so much fun picking and swapping and styling – thank you for Hanna, I loved having some creative input in my entry.
    SO… I went a little overboard.
I wanted to do a day/night look, a key outfit that just needed some accessorie changes to the key pieces that took it from work look to night out look.
    So, here this is –
It’s effortless chic, and I’m fed up of wearing dress all the time on a night out!

For me, this outfit is so chic and effortless that I don’t need to worry about spanx or overdoing the accessories. I love how the grey and majestic blues work together too. This is my cocktail night/night out with the girls/ date night outfit.
    And I love it.

    Thank you for this Hanna!

Here’s my Valentine’s Day’s date outfit, and it is smoking HOTHOTHOT ;) I absolutely love this simple, yet stunning dress, that could be accessorized in so many ways. Terveisiä Suomesta!

Forgot to say that I would wear this outfit for a lovely romantic date, perhaps for Valentines day x

  10. Janie Britton says: February 5, 2013 1:41 PM

Hi I love two of the outfits, I notice that somebodies already gone for the poppy dress ( that’s just lush) so I have done a second outfit – hope you like.
This range and to be honest a lot of the shoes are a big big plus for Evans and are harping back to years ago when Evans were great – so its seriously good to see a bit of color and boldness coming back:0)
I’ve put my outfits here – see Outfit 2 x

I had loads of fun doing this, so thanks! I love how these shoes work so well with the tunic. This would be ideal to wear for a meal out, or to go for drinks with friends.

    Love this Han!!!
I just made up my entry around the red/coral cowl neck tunic and did a blog post about it! I styled it up into a boho-rock chick look over skinny jeans with stacked accessories, ready for chic boutique late night shopping and cocktails with my ladies!

    Here is my post! xxx

Hi Hanna, here is my entry.
I have never used Polyvore before so I spend forever deciding on a look.
I oped for the gorgoues navy dress and paired it with red and cream for a bit of a ladylike look.

    Hope you like it!
